About Vine Hill Winery

With a venerable viticultural history in the Santa Cruz Mountains wine region in North Central California near Monterey Bay dating back to 1867, we are committed to making the highest quality wines, focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals.

With three distinguished and award-winning labels — Cumbre, Vine Hill and Gatos Locos — we showcase wines made from fruit grown in the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation using organic and sustainable vineyard and winery practices. Our winemaker Sal Godinez then allows his wines to naturally take on the characteristics of the Santa Cruz Mountains terroir.

Our inviting tasting room and panoramic vineyards are perched high in the Santa Cruz Mountains, just minutes from Silicon Valley and all points around the Monterey Bay. It’s a perfect, welcoming setting for an afternoon of wine tasting, as well as one of the most scenic locations in the area for weddings and other private social or corporate events.

Vine Hill Winery is now open for wine tasting every third weekend of each month from noon to 5pm.
